What Happened During Hibernation

Happy New Year! May 2010 be a great year for each of you.

Thanks to my friend, Frank, I now have a few pictures of the original pack, Lyric, the German shepherd, Chelsea, Holden, and a couple more pictures of Karen.

After enjoying a hibernation of a few weeks, I've decided to essentially shut down the Den of the Dogman. Over the last couple of months, I've written about all that I want to on the subject of dogs.

I'm not removing the site from the Internet, nor am I closing it completely. I'll post new stories from time to time, but not on a regular basis. If you want to be sure that you get any new stories that may appear, subscribe by e-mail at the upper right. You won't get on any spam list, and if something new appears, you'll be the first to know.

I've enjoyed writing this blog, and am continuing to write, just in a different, longer, format. I'd go into further detail, but I haven't begun yet. If you'd like to be kept up to date on my writing projects, just let me know and I'll be glad to do so. If you'd like to hire me to write something for you, give me a call.

Thanks for reading.

Rich

(Levi, Erica, Rocky and Chi-Chi, too)

wow, bummer. I feel like a blogmojo. I started following Masonmania, and he did the same thing. was it something I said (I know it's not..... is it??)I have to tell you my friend, that your voice of Levi was so dead on. I know dogs pretty well, and do think that they think in panting run on sentences, just like Levi did in his Obama piece. I wish I could say something to entice you to stay.............. pleeeeeeeeeeeeze??????

bummer, huge bummer. I wrote a nice long comment, and whined and begged, but after I entered the verification,it got dumped. I will miss Levi's insight. I love how dogs think, and you hit it dead on. Please dont go.......

It's great to see some pictures of the characters in your blog -- and I understand the desire to work on longer pieces. You're in my blogroll and I'll keep you there, since it sounds like you will be here occasionally. Find me on FB if you want to -- there's a link on my blog.

Going to miss your writing but I'm sure I'll be by periodically. I think many of us get to this point ...

Those are some big dogs. It has to be hard to look at pictures and not get sentimental, huh? Hang in there, Rich. Things will get better in due time, I hope. I'll be coming over every now and then to read your posts that I haven't read yet as time allows. I'm interested in knowing about your writing projects, so you may update me anytime.

I'm going to try to finish my own novel this year because all of my blog friends who are writng books are about to finish and about to get published. I have a lot of catching up to do. Otherwise, I'll be left behind again. LOL.

Good luck on your other writing endeavors.
